🌱 CHLOROKIT OVERVIEW

Chlorokits are a species of forest critters, that make themselves home among nature. Because of generations of their fluffy fur snagging in underbrush and flora alike, their undercoats have evolved to become a surprisingly good host for seedlings and other budding plant matter. That is to say, as they grow up and travel around their tails will not only collect seeds but subsequently disperse them. They've become a pillar of the ecosystem!

🌱 SPECIES DETAILS

NOTE: It would be awesome if your character followed these loose guidelines so they looked like they belonged to the species, but neither of us has any intention of nit-picking your designs. Have fun and do whatever you like!!

The hallmark signs of a Chlorokit:

• Fluffy, dragon-like body
  • Jagged mouth
  • Paw pads on hands and feet
  • 5 fingers and 4 toes with a dew claw
  • Forked tongue
  • Feathered wings
• Two styles of ears:
  • Long upright ears with a notch
  • Fluffy lop-like ears
• Horns are located on each side of their temples. Their length/shape varies depending on family/genetics
• Two different tails have been observed:
  • a long fluffy tail
  • a more slender tail with fur going down the spine and at the tip
  • Both tails have random small flora accents such as flowers, twigs, sprouts, etc. 
• One large plant - "Flora" - typically on the head. Their flora varies depending on environment, season, and diet. They typically take great care of these larger flora, going out of their way to water them and sit in the sun (thus the name "chloro", as in chlorophyll).
  • The Chlorokit's health and the head flora's health is directly tied to each other!
    • If the Chlorokit is sick, sad, or generally under the weather, the flora will also start to wilt.
      • If the larger flora on their head should ever die, the Chlorokit will also die. They make sure to take extremely good care of their flora!
        • Smaller flora in their tails are not as important, but a Chlorokit is rigorous with their upkeep regardless.
    • Chlorokit's diet mainly consists of fish, eggs, bugs, plants, mushrooms, etc.
      • Chlorokits do gain energy from photosynthesizing, though it is supplemental to their main diet.

🌱 CHLOROKIT RULES

✅ YOU MAY:

• Make your own Chlorokit character without permission, and without any restrictions.
• Take commissions designing Chlorokits (using this base or otherwise)
• Create physical art (fursuits, figures, plushes, sculptures, etc)
• Create digital art (drawings, 3D models, music, etc)
• Create and sell merch featuring Chlorokits

🛑 YOU MAY NOT:

• Depict Chlorokits in art, videos, text, etc. which promote bigoted, hateful, or unethical views.

👉 If you have questions regarding featuring Chlorokits in any COMMERCIAL work in which you expect for it to be widely distributed (i.e. games, TV, merchandise in retail stores, etc), please contact us first.
